The Pink Agenda Annual Spring Gala - May 14, 2009
Last night, The Pink Agenda, a non-profit organization committed to raising money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation threw their annual spring gala at Twenty Four Fifth. The nights key note speech was delivered by Hoda Kotb, of NBC’s Today show and Dateline NBC, as well as a breast cancer survivor herself. Willie Geist of MSNBC was in attendance as was New York socialite Amanda Hearst, as well as fashion designers Keith Lissner and Timo Weiland.
It was great to run into fashion designer Abigail Lorick for a second time this week. Her designs were worn by many in attendance, including The Pink Agenda’s President and Founder, Marissa Renee Lee.
The night was full of cocktails, and socializing, as attendees bid on wonderful items including vacation packages and luxury items in both a live, and silent auction. Later, the crowd went down to the Hotel On Rivington’s THOR Bar for some after-party cocktails.
